Dear Friends & Prayer Warriors,

    September was a steady month for us with three engagements.  We started out with a Senior Adult Revival for the Winston County Baptist Association.  The revival took place on September 11-13 each day service at a different church in the association:  The Way Community Church, Harmony Baptist Church and East Louisville Baptist Church.  The visiting preacher was Dr. Jimmy Porter.  The services were well attended.  It is so encouraging to see the senior saints supporting the work of the Lord.  It had been several years since we worked with Bro. Jimmy.  It was great hearing him preach again.

     On September 17-20, 2023, we were at Steele Baptist Church near Forest, MS.  Bro. Joey Smith, pastor, invited Bro. Greg Pettigrew to preach the revival.  It was a great week of revival and such a sweet fellowship there.

     September 22nd was a special date for my sweet bride.  She turned another year younger.  And it was even extra special for us both because all of our children were with us to celebrate it.

     The next week we were in revival in Moselle, MS at Fairfield Baptist Church.  Dede Tala, worship leader, invited us to lead worship for their revival September 24-27.  Their pastor, Bro. Ramsey Coutta, had Bro. Gene Douglas to bring the revival messages.  Bro. Gene is one of our full-time Mississippi evangelists.  He is always sensitive to the Holy Spirit.  He preached some great messages that week.
