Becky was born and raised in Eupora, MS where her family still resides.

"At the age of nine, I walked down a church aisle, took the preacher by the hand, joined the church, and was baptized.   I remember the preacher sharing the plan of salvation with me, but I did not remember my prayer to God.  For years, I served in the church as pianist, music director, children's choir director, and teacher; yet, I never had any peace in my heart.   As a former member of the gospel group, First Love Revival, I had the opportunity to perform with them at a Bailey Smith Crusade in Philadelphia, MS on June 23, 1993.   The first night we were to sing, I was under conviction.  Bro. Smith spoke on 'The Sin That Leads to Death.'  I knew that something in my life was not just right.   By God's hand, He prompted Bailey Smith to ask us back for the next night.   That night Bailey preached on 'The Positive Ways to Go to Hell.'  I realized that night that I was one of those people who was positively going to hell.  At the end of the service, Bailey told us to turn to the person next to us and tell them, 'No doubt about it.  I'm positively going to Heaven.'  I could not say it from my heart.  For years I had a head knowledge of the Lord, and not a heart knowledge.  I had attempted to always do the right things.  I prayed, read my Bible, and gave money to the church.  I was just like the Pharisees.  I was only going through the motions.  There was a battle going on inside me.  I was concerned about what everyone would think about me living a lie for so many years - pride!  But that did not matter, only what Jesus thought mattered.  I left the crusade that night not making a decision.  On the way home, I asked Gary, First Love Revival member, about his salvation experience.  He shared with me.  Of course, I knew in my heart what I needed to do.  I prayed all the way back home.  The moment I said that prayer from my heart, the Lord saved me.  At that moment, I had a peace I never had known, I became a new creature in Christ - the old was gone, the new had come.   That night, I found out what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and not religion."

Steve.jpg

Steve was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas and raised near Gulf Shores, Alabama.  Being the son of an evangelist, Steve got his start singing at an early age, with his family.  He sang with them for close to 18 years.  While in college, Steve didn't do as much singing.  But as soon as he and Becky met, he knew that God had brought them together to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song.

"It is such a joy to be able to sing with Becky and tell others about the love of Jesus and His saving Power.  It is amazing to see how God has been working through the ministry He has given us.  Ever since we surrendered to full-time music evangelism, God has continued to open doors for One Way Ministries.   If the Lord is leading you to have us at your Church, we would be more than happy to come and minister through song and testimony.  We believe that Jesus is coming back very soon to take His children home to be with Him in Glory.  And we want to be used of God to tell others how they can come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior."
